**Refunds


Is my initial down payment refundable?
We understand that situations arise beyond your control and plans can change!  However, your initial down payment is non-refundable and is used to secure your slot. If the trip is cancelled by Bridge2Africa Tours for any reason, the down payment will be refunded to you.
 
What happens if I can no longer attend a trip I have already paid for?
Please refer to our Cancellations by Client policy in the Terms and Conditions.
 

**Late Payments

I can’t make a trip payment on time, what happens now?

Payment due dates are outlined in your initial advertisement, it is your responsibility to make these payments on time.
 
Failure to pay by the due date will be viewed as a cancellation by the client.
 
 
**Trip Changes

A new trip was posted but I already paid into a different trip. Can I switch?
 Once you pay into a trip, arrangements are being made for you on that specific trip. Unfortunately, trip payments are not transferable to other trips.
 

What can I expect if a change to accommodation or itinerary is made after I book?
While Bridge2Africa Tours LLC uses reasonable efforts to provide travel services as advertised, reasonable changes in itinerary may be made at any time, including after booking. If such a change is made, we will inform you at the time of booking or once the change is known. You will be provided with information on the new accommodations which will always be of equal or greater quality.
 
 
If we make a change to any trip (such as accommodations and/or itinerary items expressly listed in the advertisement, we will inform the guest(s) booked on the trip in question as soon as reasonably possible.
 
 
What happens if a trip is cancelled due to extenuating circumstances out of The Bridge2Africa Tours LLC’s control?

Do I have to share a room?
The exciting part of Bridge2Africa Tours LLC ‘s culture is the family-like vibes that we foster. Part of how that is strengthened is in how we room our guests. We don’t want any of our guests to be isolated or closed off from the rest of the group, so we pair you with another guest who you’ll share a room with. Rooming varies by trip and will consist of some shared rooms with separate beds, shared king rooms and on some trips, we offer the option of a private room at an additional cost - lookout for that option on the trip details. We understand this may not be for everyone. If you are traveling with us - come with an open mind and ready to come out of your comfort zone and meet new people!
 
I am traveling alone; how will I be roomed?
Since you are traveling alone if have a preference for roommate (ie; same gender etc), please indicate this on your registration form. We typically room Ladies with Ladies and Gents with Gents Rest assured; other guest are traveling solo so you will not be the only one. Our group communication calls are a great way for you to get to know your tour mates and get comfortable prior to your trip. You will meet your roommate on day one as strangers and hopefully leave as a new lifelong travel family.
 
What’s Included?
inclusions vary per trip but generally includes the following: accommodations, 3 daily meals, a welcome dinner, excursion(s), transportation to excursions, airport transfers, a trip hosts, a trip manager, 24hr on call trip assistant, detailed itinerary, and special surprises.
 
What is not included?
What is not included in your cost: international airfare, visa fees (if required), passport fees, meals, tips, additional excursions not included in your itinerary, spending money, travel insurance.
 
We strongly recommend you invest in travel insurance as this will protect you in the event of cancellations, missed flights and injury while abroad.
 
Is Travel Insurance necessary?
 A resounding YES!  all our travelers must have appropriate travel insurance that covers trip cancellation and interruptions. Furthermore, the insurance must also include medical cover and personal accidents. If you opt out, it will be at your own risk and we will not be held liable for any losses you incur as a result.

You must ensure that your travel insurance provides protection for the entire length of the trip in respect of at least medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment with adequate and appropriate cover including medical emergency helicopter repatriation.
 
Ensure no exclusion clauses are limiting or excluding protection for the type of activities included in your trip.
 
You must ensure that all travel insurance purchased meets your specific personal requirements along with supplementary insurance if necessary.
 
It is your responsibility to secure valid travel insurance coverage that’s appropriate for your needs. We will not be liable for any loss as outlined in the Terms and conditions.
 
You are required to carry proof of insurance with you and produce it if reasonably requested by us or our venders. Failure to do so may result in your being excluded from participating in certain activities without being refunded.
