In 1957, Ghana was the first African Nation to achieve its independence and was among one of many African Countries involved in the transatlantic slave trade, between the 1500s and 1800s. With 50 indigenous languages and 16 regions to claim, the West African Country has proven itself as a diverse nation comprising of many cultures. The culturally rich Country shares its borders with Cote D'lvoire, Burkina Faso and Togo.
Mama Ghana has recently been prized in the tourism sector for its influx in visits over the prior years, due to the country's vibrant culture, vast growth in infrastructures, leisures, tourist, expats and a highly anticipated festive December season.

DAY 1 -ACCRA
Welcome to Ghana, West Africa! Akwaaba (Welcome in Twi language)
...You've finally touched down onto the Motherland!!
Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport (ACC) a Bridge2Africa Tour Driver and Ambassador will assist with luggage, Introduce & guide you as you greet your fellow travelers.
From Kotoko Airport, B2A Tourers will be privately transported to lodge accommodations in the Greater Accra Region.
After checking in, spoil yourself to a few hours of relaxation to recover from your long flight before our group dinner. Whether it be a short snooze or acquainting with your fellow travelers beachside at one of Accra’s premier beaches, Labadi Beach, the choice is yours to make!
Going into the evening you can freshen up and put on a group themed outfit for our official B2A Tour Welcome Dinner!

DAY 2 - ACCRA
It's Day 2 in Africa... ahhh!
Get ready and put on your walking shoes because our Adventures in Ghana officially begin!
After breakfast, we will journey throughout the heart of Accra City for a full day Tour.
Accra, the largest City and the Capital of Ghana, is a major hub for housing some of Ghana's most Monumental and Historical landmarks. We will explore Accra with a local tour guide who will deliver a vigorous itinerary, allowing you to experience the Histories Accra has to offer and leave with an opulence of knowledge.
While sipping on a local freshly cracked coconut, we will meander the colorful streets of Makola Market where the local vendors display an array of some of the Country’s highly acclaimed gems. From locally made Shea Butter and African Black Soap, to freshly sliced tropical fruits to snack on and vibrant authentic Kente Cloths, you are sure to be amazed with the unique offerings.
After exploring the Market, the rest of the day is yours to spend at the hotel until our evening group dinner.

DAY 3 - ABURI HILLS
Today we will venture out to the vibrant and luscious green hills of Aburi for a day trip.
Aburi is a small town in the Eastern Region located on the vibrant green Akwapim Hills of Ghana and known for its famous botanical attractions and rolling hills.
This will be a different scenery for you, as you've experienced only the City life in Ghana so far. Here in Aburi you will spend the day maneuvering in a realm of peace and opulence of Nature as you roam the grounds of Aburi Botanical Garden and treat yourself to a refreshing dip in one of Ghanas highest and amazing waterfalls.

DAY 4- ACCRA
Prepare for a day of gratitude!
Today will be filled with acts of community service and a B2A Tour giveback to the youth of the surrounding Villages.
As a group we will organize and distribute an array of accumulated volunteered donations for the local children.
We will spend time greeting and getting to know the children, while exploring the schools compound and sharing invigorating ideas with the staff for a brighter future towards the youth.

DAY 5 - CAPE COAST
Welcome to the Central Region of Ghana!
The Central Region of Ghana is known for its Seemingly endless coastline of sandy beaches and its glistening sun.
After enjoying an Oceanside breakfast, you will visit both the Cape Coast and Elmina Slave Dungeon where the Atlantic Slave Trade took place and be guided by a knowable tour guide who will make sure you leave knowing the hard truth about Slavery and its roots. You will leave with a true understanding of where you came from along with answers to the deep-rooted questions about slavery you've wanted answers to.
Shortly after the guided tour, a private naming ceremony will take place with a Ghanaian Chief pronouncing you with a special Ghanaian name and an official welcome greeting to the Country.
You will spend the day into the evening enjoying the company of your group while reflecting and digesting all the rich yet haunting history about our ancestors.

DAY 6 - CAPE COAST
So you woke up to the mild crashes of the African Cape Coast Ocean waters, how was that?! Time to feast over an early breakfast before heading over to one of Ghana’s biggest Attractions, Kakum National Park.
You’ll be hiking or meandering throughout the National Forest and have the option to enjoy the 160 ft above ground Canopy Walk that connects by 7 connecting floating bridges overlooking the forest and the wildlife within.
As you witness an array of monkeys, birds and other species you’re sure to leave with a thrilling experience. Don't worry, this is absolutely safe! Thrilling, but surely safe!
If you're not feeling the Canopy Walk no worries, you can enjoy a nice hike or lounge near the restaurant and shops area. The choice is surely yours.

DAY 7- ACCRA
Rise and Shine Beautiful people, it's time to enjoy our final group breakfast of the Tour as we get ready to head back to Accra from Cape Coast for our departing flight. As we reflect over another oceanside meal, Ghana will continue to settle in our hearts as we cherish the experiences the County gave us.
Well... How did you enjoy your trip to The Motherland? By now we are most certain you've enjoyed yourself and have a load of thrilling and exciting memories to share with your loved ones! You came to Ghana, experienced the culture and all that comes with it, you made new bonds and shared some amazing experiences with some amazing people. What a way to treat yourself.
